Shipping policy
2. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 2 to 4 business days, or quicker (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
3. Local Delivery (Nairn)
If you are lucky enough to live in or around Nairn, we offer a local drop off service.

Eligibility This option will show up at checkout if your postcode is within our delivery radius.

Timing We usually do our delivery runs once or twice a week. We will send you an email or text when your order is out for delivery so you know to keep an eye out.

Instructions If you have specific instructions (like "leave in the porch" or "beware of the cat"), please leave a note at checkout.
4. Domestic Shipping (UK)
We ship across the UK using Royal Mail and trusted couriers.

Standard Shipping Usually arrives within 3 to 5 business days after dispatch.

Cost Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your package.
5. Wholesale and White Label Shipping
For our trade partners, shipping rules are slightly different due to the volume and weight of the wax.

Invoicing Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We will calculate the most cost effective shipping method for your bulk order and add this to your final invoice.

Local Trade If your business is local to Nairn, we are happy to drop the order off directly to your shop or unit to save you shipping costs.
6. International Shipping
We currently ship to the UK. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please contact us at hello@thehighlandalchemists.com to discuss shipping rates. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Highland Alchemists is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
7. How Do I Check the Status of My Order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@thehighlandalchemists.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
8. Damages
Glass is fragile and sometimes the post can be rough. If your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at hello@thehighlandalchemists.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case by case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
